The competition was tough and the decision was hard to make but, in the end, Calgalcor came out on top. On October 13, CalgalCor will be joining TwistedMartini, the winner of the random draw at "From New Zealand with Love", on The Matchmaking Flight to New Zealand.1.

When it come to dating I'll try anything. Some might call me a connoisseur of connections, online I have been a member of pretty much every dating website out there from match to the Lek. Off-line I am the woman always asked, "How are you still single?" I attend singles parties, speed-date, and have even subjected myself to delusional friends that think they may be the next Chuck Woolery. Where have all these connects gotten me? A lot of really good dates but not a single relationship! I won't deny it, I am a unique one, gregarious, independent, classy, I like to have fun and enjoy the good stuff in life, good friends, good food, good wine, breaking a good sweat... Laughing is my favorite thing to do and dancing is a close second. I have a plethora of interests, love to explore, be it trying something new, meeting new people, or going somewhere new, generally speaking, if it is new to me, I am happy!
The way I look at it, given my track record I'm the best candidate to win a trip on The Matchmaking Flight because not only am I a very eligible bachelorette, I am a Lekker that is a ton of fun to travel with and deserves to be given every chance at meeting the man of my dreams including on an Air New Zealand flight, miles over the Pacific!

I wanna go to New Zealand!!! I'm so ready to move on and get out in the world. This year has been real rough in terms of heart ache, and there have been so many times I have been wishing I could go on a fun trip like this just to get away. I have always wanted to visit New Zealand and I'm very interested in the culture. Though my lips aren't as big as Jemaine's from Flight of the Conchords, my name is Samwise. Well not really, but it is Sam and I was one time told to elf-like qualities. I plan on using all of these factors to my advantage as I tour New Zealand and try to remember all the scenes of the LOTR movies. And thanks to Viggo and Liv, we all know the best matches include elves and humans.

I babysit my twin godchildren very often. I am the only single person in my immediate family. I NEVER have time to travel these days. I am single. I need a vacation. 2) Spend time with a penguin in the wild;
3) Hike on a lake above the clouds;
4) Spend time on an island below the equator;
5) Find a very special life partner from an exotic location;
6) Leave something of worth on this earth when I part; and
7) Hold a spiritual stone for a while and pass it to someone special.

My favorite moments in life are when I'm placed with a group of strangers that all bring something different to the table. Bonds instantly form and you can feel like you've known someone forever if you spend 8 hours talking on the back of the bus or playing cards thru a rainy night in a tent. This happened growing up with sports, summer camp, grade school, music lessons, college, studying abroad.... but now these situations don't present themselves. Until now. I want to go to New Zealand on the MatchMaking flight because I can offer everyone something, whether it be the perfect guitar chord, a hand with luggage, an open ear, or just a smile. With sand in my sheets and salt behind my ears, I need to be in Auk!
