Wine and Lekking

On Wednesday, August 20th, we'll be gathering at Ugo Wine Bar in Culver City for an evening of Wine and  Lekking.

While we check out samplings of their 48 wine selections and nosh on some excellent tapas, a Ugo Wine Bar wine connoisseur will school us on the complexities of the wines we're tasting.

Then, we'll all get to play "Wine Spectator" and compete to write the creative descriptions of some of the wines we tasted.  "Best" description wins a cool prize.



Wine and Lekking s the first of our "Lek Limited Events" a series of gatherings at spots around the city.  Some of our upcoming events include group surfing lessons, sake tasting, and how to make the ultimate margarita. 

However, Wednesday night is actually not limited at all. Come one, come all. Bring a friend. It'll be a fun chance to meet some other Lekkers in person all the while drinking some good wine and learning about it too!
