Contrary to its name, Samosa House isn't just a residence for samosas. Part grocery store, it is also an Indian cafe, serving up all your favorite dishes like daal, naan, chana masala and ras malai. Sometimes, you will even find non-cliche Indian menu items like jackfruit and lotus roots.
Very popular among Westsiders who want their Artesia fix without making the voyage.

Samosa House redefined Indian food for me. Their samosa cha (sic) is simply insane, a meal in itself. And if more people knew about jack fruit, we wouldn't have a beef industry. They have a great lunch combo meal for something like $6.95 with naan and three dishes. It's all vegetarian and that's all good with me. The vibe in there is totally casual, a notch below casual - you sit at tables in the middle of a market. Plus it's right down the street from the DMV. So next time you need to visit that fabulous place, nourish yourself beforehand at Samosa House.
