La Cabaña Restaurant

La Cabaña is proud to say it has been in business since 1963. What was once the National Plumbing and heating Co. and then a small thrift shop was remodeled into a thatched roof hut or "cabaña" which marked the beginning of the restaurants history,

Soon after opening, the restaurant began making hand made tortillas on the premises. In fact, we were the first Mexican restaurant on the Westside to offer hand-made tortillas with its dishes. We were also one of the first to serve authentic Mexican "platillos" and continue with this tradition. Our Carnitas for example, are prepared in the style found in Michoacan, Mexico while other dishes like our Carne Adobada, are prepared from recipes found in Jalisco Mexico.

Now after many years, La Cabaña has flourished into a landmark Restaurant that is proud of its heritage. Hear what our critics have to say about us! La Cabaña has only one location. It is independently owned and is not affiliated with any other restaurant.

Some of the Restaurant's employees have been with us since our first days in business. Our employees are dedicated and know the importance of fast quality service, which has been one of out main goals. Our customers are also valued greatly. Some have been with us since we opened and have seen the transformation from the once small hut to the present day La Cabaña.

The Owner, Nina L Haro would like to extend here sincere appreciation to her employees and customers for their continued dedication and loyalty. It is these people that La Cabaña salutes and thanks for contributing greatly to our continued success over the years.
