Capo faire can be described as a modern Italian style cuisine. Homemade pastas, fresh seafood and fireplace-grilled meats are some of the chef’s favorites.

Located near the beach in Santa Monica, this freestanding red-gabled building houses one of the prettiest rooms around: The dining room is rustic yet elegant, high-beamed ceilings, flickering candles and a brightly burning corner fireplace. Capo has a wine list of over 1200 bottles as well as a full bar.

Capo has been named one of LA’s best new restaurants in LA Style Magazine 1999 issue and is one of Chef /Owner Bruce Marder’s finest creations.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in the Santa Monica / Venice area! Food is always outstanding and, if you order meat, they cook it on the open grill just off the bar where you can watch. Better yet, if you're looking for a last minute bite to eat, stop in and sit at the bar for dinner! Great wine selection and the bartenders are very fun -- much more casual than sitting at a table but you still get the great food.
