On the runway at 10pm, SewDown will feature cutting edge lines Pylo, a new LA based all-American sourced denim line; Atousa G, the SewDown producer's popular women's line; Rico Adair, Good Garbage and Kittenhawk all showing clothing made from recycled materials; Ric Rac Clothing, classic forward fashion with old world flair and a touch of quirk; and Sloane & Tate bring sexy back to SewDown with their menswear inspired women's lingerie.
Before and after the runway show top DJs will spin including headliner Christian Martin of San Francisco's international trendsetting label, Dirty Bird Records. Martin's sound is bassline fuelled tech house and detroit-tinged techno that is sure to rock SewDown's sexy crowd. Also on the main room decks will be LA favorites, the always fashionable Jean Louis, and Lillyanne. VJing the evening will be longtime SewDown visualist Emilio Sa.
Plus indie/electro band United by Sound will kick off the fashion show with a live performance. At the outdoor stage super chic DJ Holly Adams will be joined by the Sacred Grounds DJ crew of Mark Bell, Lou and Carlos rocking the jams all night long.
In addition to the lines walking, SewDown also features a mart of lines at sample sale prices. Vendors at the Fall 2010 SewDown include Minx, jewelry with pop culture, abstract art, and fashion forward movement; handcrafted leatherwear by Andrea Mercado; fashion forward wares by Jessica Matrasko Jewlery; eco-friendly glass art benefiting humans, animals, and the earth from Sparks Glass Art; Rock em Eyewear, 70s retro frames with new lenses; sexy shoes and boots from Girly Girl Shoes; Robin's Jeans Shoes, fine imported Italian leather, with fresh and innovative details; beauty products and treatments by Make-Up Mandy; eco-friendly accessory line Suli; hair accessory and milliner Brenna Marie Designs; plus Atousa G, Rica Adair, Good Garbage, Kittenhawk, Ric Rac and Sloane & Tate.
Finally SewDown will feature cutting edge art from several popular artists including Scott Powell's illuminated work from recycled parts; paintings on raw wood by Janet Guenther; Pollack meets graffiti master Michael Gomez Burton, longtime SewDown fave Hso Hkam; photographer Mozhgan Shariat who captures raw and beautiful moments; Bay Area artist Kathleen Hallin and LA based artists Fabian Rodriguez and Ricardo Vasquez.
