Highland Park artist and art director of La Tierra de la Culebra Park, Heriberto Luna shares his love and knowledge of art with the public by offering free art classes. Garnering inspiration from the Southwest Museum grounds, students will produce two finished drawings based on the architectural structures and natural landscape.
The classes will culminate with an exhibition of a selection of student artwork in the Southwest Museum’s Plains Hall August 9–September 7. These free classes are made possible through the Artist-in-Residence grant given by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs.
