2010 Cherry Blossom Festival

The annual Cherry Blossom Festival, which takes place in downtown's Little Tokyo, is a celebration of Japanese and Japanese American culture. The 2-day festival features everything from J-Pop performances to sumo wrestling. Check out the schedule of events here!

The Festival is now in its 9th year and will be held on April 10th and 11th 2010. It is a free admission festival with the main entrance point at 1st Street & Central near the Hawaiian Village. However, the Festival will also stretch into Lot 7 (between the Japanese American National Museum and East West Players) and into the Japanese Village Plaza. It is produced by a 100% volunteer team, which includes more than 200 day of event volunteers as well as volunteer entertainment and performers. It is supported by private donations and sponsors and boasts a 2009 attendance of over 45,000.
